1) DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS POSITION
 
The YMCA is now hiring for our Director of Programs. The Director of Programs is responsible for the oversight of our Elementary After School programs, Spring Break and Summer Day Camps, as well as Special Olympics of Whitman County and Special Olympics Young Athletes. Full-time position.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 45 credits in approved school-aged field (or 30 credits and 150 training hours), 2 years experience working with children in educational settings, 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity. Salary commensurate with experience.

2) PROGRAM POSITIONS
 
We are re-opening positions for Summer Day Camp Counselors and Counselors-in-Training for the 2017 Summer Day Camp! Summer Day Camp ends on August 25th.

1) ELIGIBILITY FOR SUMMER DAY CAMP COUNSELORS:
Full Time (35-40 hrs/week). In order to be eligible for employment, applicants must have availability to work full time for the summer, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 AM - 6 PM and be 18+. Applicants must have at least 1 year experience in an applicable camp or classroom setting. See application instructions and detailed job descriptions below.

2) ELIGIBILITY FOR SUMMER DAY CAMP COUNSELORS-IN-TRAINING:
Part time (20 hrs/week). In order to be eligible for employment, applicants must be 16-17 years old and available to work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 AM - 6PM. At least 6 months of child care, youth development, or other applicable experience is preferred.

We are currently accepting applications for responsible and enthusiastic individuals for Elementary After School Site Coordinators and Program Assistants for fall of 2017.

1) ELIGIBILITY FOR ELEMENTARY AFTER SCHOOL EMPLOYMENT FALL 2017:
Part time (15-20 hrs/week). In order to be eligible for employment this semester, applicants must be available Monday through Friday from 2:30-6 PM, and have at least 1 year experience in an applicable camp or classroom setting. Applicants not meeting these qualifications will not be considered.
