Melissa Finch is a Pullman native who returned to Pullman in 2021 after living in Richland Washington for 29 years. She built a small house in the country and is very happy to be home. Melissa is a WSU alumni and has 3 grown children.  Her favorite thing about Pullman is Cougar Football Saturdays. Melissa's career in childcare spans 23 years, caring for children ranging from 6 weeks to 13-years-old, where she has worked as a teacher, a Center Director and an Area Manager. She spent the bulk of her career as a manager of before and after school programs in the Richland School District and is a passionate believer in in high quality out of school time. Melissa specializes in building strong school partnerships to increase students’ academic success and to fill the childcare needs of families. She is so happy to join the YMCA of the Palouse team and looks forward to the work we will do together!
