Kestra Engstrom

Kestra Engstrom, Program Assistant
 
Kestra was born in Chico, California, and moved around before settling in Kennewick, Washington with her family in 2009. She is the oldest of four human siblings and four animal siblings. In 2020 she graduated from Kamiakin High School and began attending Washington State University to pursue dual degrees in psychology and secondary English education. At WSU, she is also involved with the Cougar Marching Band color guard and is serving as opinion editor for WSU's Daily Evergreen for Spring 2022. Kestra began working with the YMCA of the Palouse in January 2022. She is excited about the opportunity to work with children and help them grow into positive, independent citizens of the world. In her free time, Kestra enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, watching The Bachelorette, and hanging out with her cat, Inez.
