Shelley Whidbee
 
Shelley has lived in Pullman for the past 18 years. Originally from Alabama, Shelley graduated from Auburn University with bachelor’s degrees in both laboratory technology and medical technology. After graduating college, Shelley worked for many years in the healthcare industry and then transitioned into working in healthcare related research laboratories. Shelley has supervised hospital laboratories in Athens, Georgia and served as a research scientist at Hazelton Laboratories in Vienna, Virginia, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia and, most recently, serving as a research associate in the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine until August 2013 when she left her employed position to pursue personal interests. Shelley and her husband, David, raised their daughter, Paige, in Pullman where Shelley has been actively involved in parent organizations and supporting sports and extracurricular activities for children. She has been a volunteer for Pullman schools, Northwest Dance Center, Palouse Empire Gymnastics and the Washington State Junior Golf Association.  An active cyclist, golfer, and hobbyist, Shelley is passionate about health, fitness, and wellbeing.
